Swanni Slams FCC, Dish Network, DIRECTV On Twitter!
TVPredictions.com

Washington, D.C. (March 8, 2010) -- Phillip Swann, aka Swanni, has launched a Twitter page devoted to High-Definition TV -- and he's using it to expose lies and exaggerations coming from TV companies such as DIRECTV, Time Warner and Comcast.

In the last week, Swanni's
'tweets' have covered several controversial topics, including the FCC's unwillingness to get involved in the Cablevision-Disney battle; TiVo's DVR patent victory over Dish Network; and DIRECTV's silence on adding new HD channels.

Here are some of his recent tweets:

"TiVo is better in the courtroom than the showroom. Judges love their DVRs more than consumers these days."

"Dish Network CEO Charlie Ergen is the most stubborn man on the planet. He should have settled with TiVo long ago."

"If Comcast doesn't start adding more HD in small-to-mid sized markets, it might lose millions of video subs in 2010."

"With expanded PPV service and June's 3-D channels coming from the new D12 satellite, can't see DIRECTV adding many HD networks in 2010."

"The FCC needs to get involved in these (Disney-Cablevision) programming fights BEFORE the viewers get screwed."

Many of Swanni's 'tweets' will be exclusive to the 'Swanni On HD' Twitter page and will not be published at TVPredictions.com or in the daily Swanni Sez newsletter.
