That's according to an article by Multichannel News.
Verizon did not reveal when the high-def channel would be added. The telco TV service, which now carries around 30 HD channels, has committed to offering up to 150 high-def networks by year's end.
MavTV, which is available in Australia, New Zealand and on some small cable TV systems in the U.S., targets men between the ages of 18 and 54 with programming on sports, gambling and, according to its web site, "beautiful women."

MavTV's programming lineup includes such programs as Bikini All-Stars, Real Guys and American Tailgater.
“All of our original production has been shot in HD since the second quarter of 2007,” MavTV executive vice president Doug Jost said in a statement, according to Mulitchannel News. “We have been amassing a robust HD library in anticipation of our launch this year. The agreement with Verizon marks a significant step forward for our HD efforts and we couldn’t be more excited about partnering with them,”
