-- Verizon's new TV service, FiOS, has added NESN HD to
its high-def lineup in the Boston area.
The regional sports channel airs the Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins in High-Definition.
Verizon said NESN HD, which will be channel 829 on the FiOS lineup, will be available for free. The telco offers TV service to more than 270,000 households in 40 Massachusetts communities.
