November 19: Swanni's 10 Hottest Shows In HDTV!

Washington, D.C. (November 19, 2008) -- High-Definition TVs are now in more than 30 million U.S. homes and there are scores of high-def programming choices.

But which shows should you watch? And why?

Every day here at TVPredictions.com, I scan the HD programming aisles and serve up 10 programs so good -- so hot! -- that you can't miss them. Sports, movies, primetime comedies and drama -- they're all there and in beautiful high-def.

We call this list, "The Hottest Shows in HDTV!" And here they are for Wednesday, November 19, 2008: (All times Eastern -- and don't forget the link below to today's 'HD Hottie -- in fact, today there are four of them!

1. NBA Basketball
Dallas at Houston.

ESPN, 8 p.m.

2. Pushing Daisies (new)
The man who can bring the dead back to life with the touch of a single finger investigates why a magician's animal assistants are being killed off. It's a shame he can't bring his show's ratings back to life.
ABC, 8 p.m.

3. Bones (new)
Program descript: "Booth and Brennan have to solve a murder in mid-air on a plane." Boy, those perk-cutting airlines will ask passengers to do anything these days.

Fox, 8 p.m.

4. The Ultimate Trailer Show
Tonight, Texas-based film critic Robert Wilonsky reviews the trailers for
Gran Torino, Last Chance Harvey and Slumdog Millionaire.
HDNet, 8 p.m.

5. Knight Rider (new)
Mike, Billy and KITT the talking car go to Las Vegas to bust a money laundering ring.
NBC, 8 p.m.

6. Friday Night Lights (new)
TV's best drama is back -- exclusively on DIRECTV's channel 101. (Episodes will air in early 2009 on NBC.) Tonight, Tim is concerned about Jason's departure from Dillon while Tami and Coach Taylor fight over a financial situation.

7. Criminal Minds (new)
The team investigates a jailed serial killer who says his last victim has yet to die. Hmmm, David Fincher (director of Seven) might ask his copyright attorneys to tune in tonight.

8. CSI: NY (new)
Detective Mac Taylor investigates why people named Mac Taylor keep showing up dead. Yeah, that would get me motivated.

Chicago at Portland.

10. Late Night With David Letterman
Tonight's guest: Katie Couric.
