Jan 4-6: 30 Hottest Shows In HDTV!
By Allison Moore
HD Diva

Washington, D.C. (January 4, 2008) -- High-Definition TVs are now in roughly 30 million U.S. homes and there are dozens of high-def programming choices.

But which shows should you watch?

Every day here at TVPredictions.com, I scan the HD programming aisles and serve up 10 programs so good -- so hot! -- that you can't miss them.

But now I have compiled the 30 hottest shows for the entire weekend -- Friday, Saturday and Sunday. And it's a great weekend, high-def owners. More sports, movies, comedies and dramas that you can imagine.

So here are the 30 Hottest Shows in HDTV for the weekend of January 4-6, starting with Friday. (All times Eastern; and smart remarks are the opinion of the author only.)

1. Destination HD
The high-def cameras tour the beautiful Pacific Coast Highway which stretches from LA to San Fran.
Discovery's HD Theater, 8 p.m.

2
. Ghost Whisperer (repeat)
In the season debut, Jennifer Love Hewitt and her breasts investigate her family history in Grandview. And, that's some grand view there, Jen.
CBS, 8 p.m.

3. Children of Men

Clive Owen stars in this dark view of a futuristic society where women can't have babies. Not allowed to have babies? What, did Kim Grandy direct this thing?!
HBO, 8 p.m.

4. Friday Night Lights
The outstanding drama about high school football in Texas (and much more) returns after a several week hiatus. Tonight, the team takes in a rival squad whose town was ripped apart by a tornado.
NBC, 9 p.m.

5. Moonlight (repeat)
The mysterious Mick St. John hunts down a bloody-thirsty vampire. Is there any other kind?
CBS, 9 p.m.

More babes in bed (with each other). Perhaps Children of God's director would like this show.

7. NBA Basketball
The Miami Heat takes on the Dallas Mavericks.
ESPN, 9:30 p.m.

8
. Las Vegas
Danny and Mike go to Wyoming to buy a horse for Cooper.

NBC, 10 p.m.

9.
Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby
Will Ferrell shines in this satire of NASCAR racing. Don't miss Sacha Baron Cohen (Borat) as a French driver.
Starz, 10:15 p.m.

10. HDNet Fights
MMA's #1 ranked Heavyweight, Fedor Emelianenko, is back and so are several Japanese fighters including Hayato Sakurai! (Okay, I don't know who these guys are.)
