-- Oliver Stone's World Trade Center will be
released on Blu-ray and HD-DVD on December 12, Paramount
Home Entertainment announced today.
The film, based on the real life story of two New York policemen trapped in the rubble on September 11, 2001, stars Nicolas Cage and Michael Pena.
Paramount will also release the film on standard DVD on December 12. The studio next week is scheduled to release Mission Impossible 3 in all three DVD formats as well.
The two-disc high-def World Trade Center DVD will include a commentary by director Stone as well as a second commentary by real-life survivors Will Jimeno and rescuers Scott Strauss, John Busching and Paddy McGee; nine deleted or extended scenes and a three-part "Making-of" documentary.
Both the HD-DVD and Blu-ray discs will be priced at $29.95 while the standard DVD will be $19.95.
