-- Is Dish Network the worst place to work in America?
The absolute worst?
The Denver Post reports that the investment news site, 24/7, has
come to that conclusion based on an analysis of employee
interviews submitted to glassdoor.com. According to the
analysis, 228 out of 355 reviewers, or 64 percent, said they
were either "dissatisfied" or "very dissatisfied" with working
for Dish.
That put Dish first among the worst, according to 24/7.
Following the satcaster on the worst list: Dillard's, Radio
Shack, Hertz and Office Max.
Joe Clayton, the outspoken Dish CEO, had a characteristic candid
comment when asked by the Denver Post about the dubious
distinction of being called the worst company to work for.
"I've worked in a lot worse places -- this isn't one of them,"
said Clayton, whose past employment has taken him to RCA and
Sirius.
